AFRICA: BEHAVIORS, ACTIONS AND SOLUTIONS, WHAT CHANGE IN THE FACE OF WATER CRISIS?

In this series launched on the occasion of World Water Day and the UN Conference on Water to be held from 22 to 24 March 2023 in New York in the United States of America, AFRIK 21 takes stock of water-related issues. Without being exhaustive, this dossier focuses on the place of water in sustainable development, the impact of the climate crisis on the availability of the resource and the adaptation and preservation policies implemented by governments, organizations and companies to achieve the sixth sustainable development goal (SDG6) which aims at universal coverage by 2030. Currently in Africa, 418 million people still do not have access to safe drinking water, even if it is a basic human right.
