AFRIK 21 presents the most innovative initiatives of environmental, sustainable development and green economy actors in Africa. Through LinkedIn, AFRIK 21 brings together the community of professionals, entrepreneurs, experts and investors in green business in Africa.
Supported by young journalists working in an editorial office based in Central Africa, AFRIK 21 aims to provide information on issues, initiatives and solutions concerning the continent’s energy and ecological transition. In order to reflect the dynamics of the actors and accelerate the projects of decision-makers: from Cape Town to the Mediterranean, from the Atlantic Ocean to the Indian Ocean.
Holder of a BTS (Higher Technical Diploma) in Communication and Advertising, and graduate of IEP (Institute of Political Studies) Lyon, Stephan is the main shareholder of PUBLISHING 21, the publishing company of AFRIK 21.

Appoline Chaminade-Meyer holds a BTEC (Higher National Diploma) in Business Communication. She has been advertising manager since 1999 and working in the Water and Environment sector since 2004. Appoline manages advertising on Afrik 21.

Christoph Haushofer worked for 25 years in the environmental trade press. Journalist and editorial secretary, then editor and deputy director of Environnement Magazine, Hydroplus and other titles in the environmental sector, Christoph holds a Master’s degree in media management (Institute of political studies, Rennes). He supervises the newsroom of Afrik21.
All the journalists on the desk keep a bilingual online watch. However, the articles are written in French and subsequently translated into English.
Audrey holds a professional degree in Information and Communication Sciences and Techniques, Journalism option, at Esstic (Advanced School of Mass Communication) – University of Yaoundé II, and is a journalist at AFRIK 21. Bilingual (oral: English to French; written: English), Audrey ensures the translation of all articles that are originally written in French.
Luchelle holds a professional degree in Information and Communication Sciences and Techniques, Journalism option, at Esstic – University of Yaoundé II, and is a journalist at AFRIK 21. Bilingual (oral: French-English; written: French), Luchelle is particularly responsible for monitoring the topics “Biodiversity” and “Economy & Climate”.
Working for several Cameroonian media, including a quarterly on the environment (Bosangi), Boris is a bilingual journalist (spoken: French-English; written: French). For AFRIK 21, he is in charge of the “Renewable Energy” watch.
Jean Marie TAKOULEU
Holder of a professional degree in Information and Communication Sciences and Techniques, Journalism option, at Esstic – University of Yaoundé II, Jean Marie is a journalist at AFRIK 21. Bilingual (oral: French-English; written: French), Jean Marie is responsible in particular for monitoring the topics “Water and the Environment” and “Sustainable Cities” and coordinates the work of the desk.
