Marc Guillaume : « hydrogen brings hope for the energy transition »

While green hydrogen is presented as a future solution for a decarbonized world, Africa is once again at the center of all the issues. The continent has an enormous potential in terms of clean energies whose exploitation could allow the electrification of its entire population and the production of green hydrogen. What is this emerging sector? On the sidelines of the 13th edition of the Arbois and Mediterranean Round Tables held on May 3 and 4, 2023 in Aix-en-Provence, France, around the theme: "Hydrogen tomorrow: myths & realities", AFRIK 21 spoke with Marc Guillaume. This professor at the École Polytechnique and the University of Paris-Dauphine discusses the challenges of green hydrogen in Africa.
