The co-organisers of the Climate Chance Africa 2023 Summit are launching a call for contributions of best practices in climate and biodiversity. The call for expressions of interest targets initiatives led by non-governmental organisations (NGOs), associations, local governments, businesses, research players, etc.

The call for contributions, launched ahead of the Climate Chance 2023 Summit, aims to identify innovative best practices that can be replicated on a larger scale in Africa and worldwide. The selected projects will be presented at the Climate Chance Africa 2023 Summit in Yaoundé, in the Pitch Corner area, during workshops and/or will be included in the Action Mapping section of the Climate Chance Portal.

Who can participate and submit a project?

  • You are an NGO or association, a local government, a company, a research player, a youth organisation, a women’s/gender organisation, a farmers’ organisation, a trade union, an indigenous peoples’ organisation.
  • You have an innovative and replicable project, already underway or in the launch phase, in one of the following sectors or themes: energy, mobility, buildings, industry, waste management, agriculture, forestry, land use, education and training, climate finance, water, sustainable cities, adaptation.

Interested parties have until 1 September 2023 to apply.
