TOGO: Illicit ivory trade continues, 5 other traffickers arrested

Five alleged ivory traffickers meditate on their fate at the civil prison in Lomé, Togo. They were arrested on October 13th, 2020 in flagrante delicto for the illegal possession and marketing of three elephant tusks. They face a prison sentence of between one and five years and a fine of between 1,500 and 76,000 euros.
