The 16th International Exhibition of Water Equipment, Technologies and Services (SIEE-Pollutec) will take place from September 13th to 16th, 2021 in the Algerian capital Algiers. This environmental event will welcome professionals of the water sector from Africa and elsewhere.

After a year 2020 marked by the health crisis due to Covid-19, water professionals will be able to renew their ties with the International Exhibition of Water Equipment, Technologies and Services (SIEE-Pollutec). The 16th edition of this major African environmental exhibition will take place from September 13th to 16th, 2021 in the central Safex pavilion in Algiers.

Like the previous events, the show is an opportunity for water professionals to nourish reflection on new technologies as well as on the future of this crucial sector thanks to exhibitions. SIEE-Pollutec will also be an opportunity for the players in the water market to forge relations with the local and territorial administration (Algeria), manufacturers, industrialists and design firms.

This exhibition is also being held in a context marked by climate change, which is accentuating water stress in North Africa. Faced with this situation, several governments in the sub-region are betting on non-conventional water resources such as seawater desalination. This is why this solution was at the heart of the 15th edition of SIEE-Pollutec, which was held in February 2019 in Algiers. During this meeting, the water professionals also exchanged on the new technologies of wastewater treatment or the storage and distribution of emergency water.
