AFRICA: Hydropower will be the focus of an exhibition in Uganda in April 2021

The 4th Regional Conference and International Exhibition on Water Storage and Hydropower Development for Africa will be organised in partnership with the ICOLD (International Commission on Large Dams) and the Government of Uganda from 13th,-15th, July 2021 at Speke Resort Munyonyo, on the shores of Lake Victoria, Uganda.

This international conference and exhibition on water storage and hydropower development for Africa will bring together experts from all over the world to discuss topics of particular interest to Africa.

The themes of this conference will include: civil engineering and dam construction, safety and cyber security, social and environmental concerns, ambitious projects, multi-purpose development, rural electrification, etc.

Uganda’s strong commitment to hydropower makes it the ideal host country; post-conference tours will allow delegates to visit the country’s most important dams and hydropower plants.
